Community Center

Mission

We’re here to serve the community, bridge gaps, and share hope. We extend a hand not only to ease suffering, but also to break cycles of poverty, and reach out to those who have been marginalized. We want to create a radically inclusive, just, and loving community.

Our 5 Foundational Pillars

We partner with community businesses and leaders to bring transformative classes and life skills training. We want to empower our neighborhood by offering a variety of learning opportunities.

These programs are here to strengthen our community. We want to offer hope and encouragement to those who are in need and see our community fully restored.

Indoor & Outdoor Facilities

Playzone

Located inside the Community Center, the Playzone includes a makers’ space, massive playcenter, climbing wall, and more. It is FREE for the community and is attended by volunteers or staff, with an emphasis on safety and security. Check it out…seeing is believing!

The Gathering Place

We’ve reclaimed an empty lot in our neighborhood and made it into an outdoor space with a sand volleyball court and a shelter. Visit anytime dawn-dusk to connect, play, and enjoy community together. Located at 2504 Jackson Street

Tire Park

The Tire Park is an awesome place for kids and families to enjoy playing outdoors. It’s available for free and open from dawn to dusk. Located at 2504 Jackson Street

Basketball Court

Enjoy sports in our fenced-in area outside with a basketball and pickleball court. This area will also be used for corn hole tournaments and more.

Community Garden

Would you like to give back to your community by getting outside in the fresh air and tending to plants? We would love to have you participate in the planting and upkeep of the garden!

Bookstore

We keep prices as low as possible and keep our shelves stocked with a fresh selection of great books for all ages. Browse the bookstore anytime the Community Center is open and ask a volunteer if you wish to purchase a book.

Luna Coffee Bar

We developed a special roast just for Luna Coffee. Give it a try – we know you’ll be back for more! But we believe in more than just serving a great cup of coffee. By purchasing a cup of Luna Coffee you are supporting missions around the world.

The Gathering Space

This large multi-purpose room and stage is connected to the outdoor patio, Luna cafe, and Playzone. It is open to the public during Community Center hours and can be reserved as event space by non-profit groups or corporate events.

Patio

This welcoming outdoor space was designed as an extension of our stage and cafe area for use in pleasant weather. It is well-lit and fully accessible with wheelchair ramps to outdoor seating beside our outdoor basketball and pickleball court.
